For those who have multiple business locations, controlling each of them is important. The Facebook Location Page is a tool released in 2018 to help business owners in managing all of their business' locations, no matter their number.

How to Set up Facebook Locations

  1. Create a Business Manager Account.
  2. Go to "Settings", click "Business Settings".
  3. Click "Pages" and then the "Add a Page" button.
  4. In a pop-up, insert your Facebook Page name or link.
  5. Close the pop-up.
  6. Click "Get Started".
  7. Remove Address.
  8. Click "Add Locations".

In this case, you will need to fill in a form manually to add locations on Facebook, giving details such as address, telephone number, geotag, etc. It's convenient if your small business only has a few locations.

A CSV template is a text format used to present tabular data. Usually, we use it in programs like Microsoft Excel. If you have multiple locations this way is more convenient, so you don't fill in all of the forms manually. What's the Difference Between a Facebook Business Page and a Facebook Location Page?

A Facebook Business Page and a Facebook Location Page have parent-child relations. You may have one main business page and several sub-pages, for each different location of your business. The advantage for you is that you can create content for a specific local audience. The benefit for customers is that it's easier to search for services near them.
